God is in Charge and All is Well

For many, change is already hard and this new way of isolated living is just soul crushing. Being a natural introvert, I don’t mind the social distancing as much as I hate the change in my routine. I’m usually a pretty chill person, but if you interrupt my regularly scheduled programming for anything less than an actual life-threatening emergency, I can become quite cranky. Before the pandemic my days were pretty routine. I would wake up and put my 8 year old on the bus at 6:45 am, go to my 8 hour job, come home to nightly mom duties, and then chill with my hubby before our 10:30 pm bedtime. My new reality involves working from home while homeschooling and it’s been a struggle to establish a new routine. I’ve been praying that hings will go back to normal soon, but I’m starting to think this is the ‘new normal’.

So now I pray that I am in constant remembrance that God is in control even when it seems that all is falling apart. That all these disruptions to my daily life are as sands disturbed and will eventually settle into place. I know there are others out there feeling the same way, so I made this card as a reminder that God is in charge and ALL is well.

I colored this beautiful stamp from My Favorite Things with my Copic Markers. My intention was to create a soft purple flower. The colors I chose created more of a white flower than purple and I’m very much okay with that. Both sentiments, inside and outside, is stamped in MFT Hybrid Ink color Boysenberry.

The message on the inside of this card is just as powerful as the sentiment on the cover.
