Hey crafty family! I wanted to share these easy, but elegant cards I made using the Hero Arts Large watercolor markers and a stencil. These cards were fun and relaxing and a good way to take your mind off the bleak news. I chose to make cards that express sending prayers.

This style card is so easy to make. Simply outline the stencil with your favorite watercolor markers. I used Tombow Markers and HA Large Flower Stencil. For the variation, I chose 2 to 3 colors in the same family. Once the tracing was complete, I cleaned the stencil and laid to the side. Using a little more than damp brush, for each petal, I dragged the color from the edges to the center of the petal. This took some time, but I found the repetitive process calming. I could feel the anxiety leaving my body with each stroke.

Tip: Dont’t clean your brush between color changes. Just dip and color. This will give you some added variation in each petal.
I colored up several panels before making cards with them. I cut the panels to fit on top of A4 cards and added die cut and sentiments using HA Stamp-n-Cut Prayers set.
Happy Crafting Y’all, Erika
